Congratulation..You are a Muslim!

PEACE!

First of all, I need to apologize for not posting any new topics since long time, as I am stuck in a translation work! Hopefully, I will come back soon Insha Allah.

Meanwhile, I would like to share with you this short, yet powerful, speech, which I delivered last week on the occasion of celebrating my colleague, who has embraced Islam recently. Please notice that the audiences were Muslims and non-Muslims.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Today, we gathered here to celebrate our dearest colleague (her original name)'s two important events.

She was here with us sharing us our exciting moments.

Being a hard working creative and self-motivated employee.. But by Allah's Will, other chances were offered to her to grasp.. and other challenges to face!

And as Allah SWT says:

(وَعَسَى أَن تَكْرَهُواْ شَيْئاً وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَعَسَى أَن تُحِبُّواْ شَيْئاً وَهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّكُمْ وَاللّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ)

[Perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.] [2:216]

That was the first event….

The other event is her embracing of Islam. Allah SWT says:

(سَنُرِيهِمْ آيَاتِنَا فِي الْآفَاقِ وَفِي أَنفُسِهِمْ حَتَّى يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِ بِرَبِّكَ أَنَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ)

[We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness?] [41:53]

She listened to the calls of God, asked for a sign and Al Humdulilah she got it and surrendered immediately to the Will of Allah..

And it was among Allah's favors on me, as He answered my prayers, to witness the moment of her uttering of the Shahada (or the Testimony of Faith), i.e. saying:

أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وأشهد أن محمدا عبده ورسوله

"I bear witness that there is no deity worthy to be worshipped but Allah, and I bear witness the Muhammad is His servant and messenger." 

My dearest sister (her Arabic name)..

We ask Allah SWT to grant you success, strength, patience, and good health to continue your career.

We pray that on the Day of Judgement, you will be among those whose light is proceeding before them and on their right, [it will be said], "Your good tidings today are [of] gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein you will abide eternally." That is what is the great attainment.

And we pray that you will be given your record in your right hand, and then you will say, "Here, read my record!"

And therefore, you will be in a pleasant life - In an elevated garden,  its [fruit] to be picked hanging near;  [and you will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past."

And the angels will enter upon you from every gate, [saying], 

(سَلاَمٌ عَلَيْكُم بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ)

"Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home."

May Allah grant you Jannat Al Firdous, which is the highest level in Paradise.

I am warning you my sister that you will be tested and I wish that you have the most easiest test in this life

May Allah guide us ALL to his straight Path.

وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّـهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
