Imam Abu Said Al-Kudami said:
"…And
those three men from Oman were given as an example. The matters of the people
of Oman, at that time, went back to a deaf, a lame, and a blind. It was said
that Abu Jabir Muhammad ibn Ja'far was deaf; Abu Abdullah Nabhan ibn
Uthman was lame; and Abu Al-Mu'ther Al-Sult ibn Khamis was blind."
