"There has never been a time when the Islamic
world has been so weak and divided as at present while their opponents are
getting more and more powerful. The people who have contributed to this
unfortunate state are regrettably Muslims themselves led by their sectarian fanatics.
These self-appointed leaders spend money lavishly to propogate dissension and
discord within the Islamic community. They revive old historical conflicts to
perpatuate division within different Islamic sects. They are intolerant of
others who disagree with them and call them apostates or heretics, when
theological differences exist among all sects and even within each sect. They
are ambitious to dominate the Islamic world or the major part of it. As long as
we are all agreed on the fundamental principles of Islam, differences on subsidiary
issues should not be allowed to cause division. We should always remember What
Allah has said,
And in whatsoever you differ,
the decision thereof is with Allah
(S.42 V. 10)
But sectarian fanatics have usurped Allah’s
role, have made themselves judges and have passed decisions before the Day of Judgement!"
