Among the spirits there is one that has dried, and so it could
scarcely feel, see, or hear.
And among the spirits there is one that became light and it jumped in order to fly.
And among
the spirits there is one that flapped and is about to
arrive.
Eyes water gets dry when the
life spring gets dry in the soul. And eye shine fades when the heart's radiance fades.
Spirit sees what the eyes see, hears what the ears hear, and understands what the minds understand. It also perceives more than what the vision, the ears and the minds can comprehend.
Any talk that does not excite the spirit is
a talk without spirit. And the word that does not breathe is a corpse without
life.
Every conversation in which minds
become reckless and values and ideals are absent, is waste of effort and time, damage
to the nerves, and deepening of the grudge and the principle of victory for
soul.
No wonder
that the spirit - in its rising or descending; in its land, its atmosphere, or
even the sea - is as it is; radiation, purity and clearness.
Mind is noble, time is precious, health is
expensive, and heart purification is one of the talents of the righteous and
attitudes of the people of Paradise.
'O prostrating
spirit in the sanctuary, leave all other spirits; for that you are in a station
- if they knew about it - they would crowd you for it.'
