Winds, Storms and Signs

Then, reflect - may Allah have mercy on you and us upon the stormy wind, the thunder and the snatching lightning.

From how many sides does the wind come?
From East, North,

South and West.
And from above and below,
And between the sides.

It comes strong and weak.
Sometimes it blows and sometimes it stills.
Is this its choice and desire?
If it was, then why does it stop sometimes?
And why it blows from all sides and varies?
And its stopping, is it its choice and desire?
Or out of envy to the Children of Adam?!
So if it was its choice and will, then why does it stop sometimes?
And how does it blow from all sides?

Where is it?
Stored in the seas, or in mountains, or in heaven, or in earth?
And when it stops, what is its description?
And what is the description of its colour?
And when it blows, what moves it?

Are they angels (peace be upon them), or jinn, or mankind, or beasts, or its power to do so?

And how it agrees on blowing from two sides at the same time, and then it stops until people might wish if it blows at time, but it does not blow.
And they might wish if it stops when it rages at time.
And they do not get what they wish for.

Therefore, all this proves that it is the reflection of the One who

(لَا يَعْزُبُ عَنْهُ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّةٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ)
"…Not [even] the weight of an atom escapes Him in the heavens or in the earth..." [34:3]

And this wind is a moving body; not an accident.
So can anyone describe its body?
And where is its habitation?

And does it have any benefit when it blows?
Or is it subjected by the reflection of the One who His is the creation and the command?!

And there are other benefits for us in them, none but Allah knows them.
And we know them not; and it could be even possible that the healing of sick among us is due to the blowing of wind, by Almighty Allah's leave.

And it obeyed its Lord for what He has made them subservient for.
And we disobeyed. So what is our excuse and saying if He asked us?
We ask Allah the Gracious to pardon us by His favour and bounty.
